According to recent data released by the China Automobile Association, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles completed 701000 and 699000 units respectively from January to July 2019, an increase of 39.1% and 40.9% compared to the same period last year. The production and sales of fuel cell vehicles were 1176 and 1106, respectively, an increase of 8.8 times and 10.1 times compared to the same period last year.

If the performance of the entire new energy vehicle market in the first half of the year is still satisfactory, then starting from July, the sharp decline in production and sales is somewhat surprising.

According to data statistics, in July 2019, China's production and sales of new energy vehicles reached 84000 and 80000 units, respectively, a decrease of 6.9% and 4.7% compared to the same period last year. Among them, fuel cell vehicles experienced a cliff like decline, with production and sales in July falling to single digits, with only 6 and 4 units.
