(3) Operating temperature environment

Charging environment temperature: The optimal charging environment for lithium-ion batteries is 5 to 45 degrees Celsius. Although 0 to 5 degrees Celsius can still charge normally, the charging current needs to be relatively reduced (in an environment of 5 to 45 degrees Celsius) in order to maximize battery life.

Charging at high temperatures or above 45 degrees Celsius can reduce battery performance and even degrade the electrolyte inside the battery. Low temperature or below 0 degrees Celsius can cause an increase in internal resistance, leading to an extension of charging time. In addition, when charging in an environment below 0 degrees Celsius, the battery will be in a sub freezing state, which can cause irreversible damage to the battery.

Discharge environment temperature: The discharge environment temperature of lithium-ion battery packs is generally -20 ℃~60 ℃. However, when it is lower than 0 ℃, the performance of lithium-ion batteries will decrease, and the discharge capacity will correspondingly decrease. Therefore, the working temperature for lithium-ion batteries with complete performance is usually 0~40 ℃. Some specially customized lithium-ion batteries have different temperatures, and some can even operate normally in environments of hundreds of degrees Celsius.

(4) Storage and maintenance

Lithium ion batteries can be stored in a clean, dry and ventilated environment with a temperature of -5~35 ℃ and a relative humidity of no more than 75%. Avoid contact with Corrosive substance, keep away from fire and heat sources, and do not place them in direct sunlight. Do not disassemble the batteries at will. If the battery is stored for a long time, the battery capacity should be maintained at 30% to 50% of the nominal capacity. It is recommended to charge the stored battery every 6 months.

(5) Do not mix the lithium-ion battery pack with metal objects to avoid metal objects touching the positive and negative poles of the battery, causing short circuits, damage to the battery, and even causing danger.

(6) Lithium ion batteries should not be knocked, punctured, stepped on, modified, or exposed to sunlight, and should not be placed in microwave, high-voltage, or other environments.

(7) Use a legitimate matching lithium-ion battery charger to charge the battery, and do not use inferior or other types of battery chargers to charge lithium-ion batteries.
