In October 2020, Funeng Technology officially announced that it had signed a cooperation agreement with Türkiye's first pure electric vehicle brand TOGG.

Interestingly, at the end of 2020, Honeycomb Energy also entered the Türkiye market and signed a fixed-point agreement with OTOKAR, a leading bus manufacturer. This is the second time that Honeycomb Energy has been designated as a European customer after receiving an order from the PSA Group in France. Prior to this, Honeycomb Energy signed a procurement contract with PSA Group in France to provide batteries for PSA's electric vehicles, with an order demand of approximately 7GWh.

It is worth noting that in September 2020, foreign media reported that BYD would supply Daimler with the latest Lithium iron phosphate "blade battery". In addition, it was also reported that "BYD is negotiating with Jaguar Land Rover on battery supply and production.

It is logical to obtain orders from European car companies and build factories in Europe. So, do you have to go to the local factory to build a factory after receiving the order? This is not necessarily the case. Ultimately, it still needs to be analyzed in detail. For example, Yiwei Lithium Energy has not gone, Xinwangda has not made any significant progress, and Wanxiang 123 has not taken any action, but they have also obtained enviable international orders.

In 2018, Yiwei Lithium Energy also signed an agreement with Daimler to supply ternary soft pack lithium-ion batteries for Daimler; In July 2020, Yiwei Power, a subsidiary of Yiwei Lithium Energy, received a designated letter from a BMW supplier. In April 2019, Xinwangda stated that it had received a designated letter from the Renault Nissan alliance, with an estimated demand for 1.157 million related vehicle models, and a conservative estimate that the order amount would exceed 10 billion yuan. In July 2020, Wanxiang 123 was confirmed to have won a 10 billion yuan power lithium-ion battery order from Volkswagen.
