Recently, the press office of Fujian Provincial Government held a press conference and said that it would spare no effort to build new energy vehicles and their supporting industrial clusters, and define and propose a new round of policies and measures to support the comprehensive promotion and application of new energy vehicles.

In 2020, all urban buses in Fujian Province will be upgraded to new energy vehicles. The proportion of new energy vehicles suitable for the application of new energy vehicles in road passenger transport will exceed 50%. The proportion of urban taxis such as urban cruise taxis, online taxis and time-sharing rental vehicles will be higher than the national average. The proportion of time-sharing rental vehicles will be electrified. The proportion of new energy vehicles for urban special vehicles such as sanitation and logistics will be more than 50%.

Fujian Province said that it would strive to adopt new energy vehicles for all highway passenger transport vehicles suitable for the application of new energy vehicles in the province, and new energy vehicles for all urban sanitation and logistics vehicles. The proportion of hydrogen fuel logistics vehicles ranks among the top five in China, the proportion of urban cruise taxis, online taxis and other urban taxis and time-sharing rental vehicles and new energy vehicles ranks among the top three in China, and the proportion of private passenger vehicles and new energy vehicles strives to rank among the top five in China.

In order to achieve the above goals, Fujian Province has introduced incentives for new energy vehicles:

(1) The charging electricity price is preferential. For the electricity used by the operating centralized charging and changing power station that directly reports to the grid operation enterprise for connection, the basic electricity charge is exempted, and the peak valley time of use electricity price is implemented. The electricity price is halved according to the electricity price in the big industry catalog. It is understood that the electricity price implemented by Fujian power grid is the most favorable in China.

(2) Preferential treatment shall be provided for parking of new energy vehicles, and parking of new energy vehicles in public parking lots (points) invested by the government shall be free within 2 hours; From 2020 to 2025, if the public parking lot (point) invested by the government parks new energy vehicles for more than 2 hours, the parking fee will be halved.

(3) There is no limit to the number of people to keep and no limit to the traffic policy. There is no restriction on the number of new energy vehicles, and no restriction on the passing of trucks with new energy vehicle license plates (except heavy trucks and dangerous goods transport vehicles) on urban roads.

(4) New energy vehicles are used for updating official vehicles and taxis. Except for special circumstances, all new energy vehicles shall be used in the renewal of official vehicles by the Party and government organs, and new energy vehicles shall be used in the new and updated city cruising taxis and online taxi in the province.

(5) Preferential treatment for high-speed traffic of new energy vehicles. The expressway company will give away electronic tags (ETC) to new energy vehicles in Fujian Province for electronic toll collection, so as to increase the proportion of toll discount. In addition, Fujian will also exempt new energy vehicles from license fees and facilitate the construction of charging (hydrogenation) facilities.
