However, unlike the natural gas refueling equipment, the hydrogen injection pressure reaches 35Mpa or 70Mpa, which is much higher than the natural gas pressure of 25Mpa. Therefore, the pressure bearing capacity and safety requirements for the hydrogenation machine are higher.

Ren Xingping said that from the current market development, the volume of hydrogen fuel cell vehicles is not enough to support large-scale production of hydrogen refueling machine manufacturers. At the same time, in terms of domestic hydrogenation machine R&D technology, core components such as flow meters, hydrogenation guns, pipeline valves, etc. are excessively dependent on imports. At present, in order to ensure the reliability of equipment, manufacturers are more willing to choose imported parts, so it is difficult to reduce the cost. At present, many domestic manufacturers are also carrying out component localization, but there needs to be a process of test and verification. Localization is the development direction.

The hydrogenation machine is a metering terminal and trade settlement equipment in the hydrogenation station. Its working principle is: the compressed hydrogen enters the hydrogenation machine through the transmission pipeline, flows through the control valve, one-way valve, mass flowmeter, pull off valve, high-pressure hose, ball valve hydrogenation gun, and finally flows into the cylinder of the inflated vehicle. In this process, the mass flowmeter measures the mass of the gas flowing through the dispenser and transmits it to the computer control part of the dispenser. The computer calculates the corresponding volume (mass) and amount and displays them to the user on the display screen of the dispenser, thus completing the primary hydrogenation process.

Ren Xingping revealed that the valves, flowmeters and hydrogenation guns involved in the process were basically imported from abroad, accounting for most of the cost of the whole hydrogenation machine. Therefore, the company will try to deepen the research and development of core parts in the future, so as to reduce the cost of the hydrogenation machine and improve the core competitiveness of the product.
