Solid state batteries are just icing on the cake in Toyota's electrification transformation

As of 2025, Toyota's annual sales of hybrid electric vehicles (HEVs), plug-in hybrid electric vehicles (PHEVs), pure electric vehicles (EVs), and fuel cell vehicles (FCEVs) will reach 5.5 million units, with over 1 million units of pure electric vehicles and fuel cell vehicles.
