According to foreign media reports, Akasol has announced the opening of its semi-automatic battery production plant located in Langen, which is responsible for supplying high-performance lithium batteries to commercial vehicles. The company invested 10 million euros (approximately 11.8 million US dollars) in this new factory. With the increasing demand for batteries, their investment may double in the future.

Akasol's factory has achieved mass production with an annual output of up to 600MWh and has now become the largest commercial vehicle battery system assembly line in Europe. Akasol recently announced that it will supply lithium battery systems to two major European customer manufacturers in the future. According to the signed agreement, the factory will cooperate with car companies to complete the production of nearly 10000 passenger cars in the coming years. At present, Akasol also provides technology and consulting services to industry-leading companies such as VDL Bus&Coach, Alexander Dennis, Alstom, Bombardier, and BucherMunicipal.

Based on the current annual production capacity of the factory, its high-performance battery systems can be equipped with up to 3000 vehicles - hybrid or electric vehicles, or other commercial vehicles. Langen factory will be responsible for manufacturing AKAsystemOEM battery systems for trucks or buses for commercial vehicles.

At present, as the only European manufacturer to achieve mass production of lithium batteries, Akasol can provide various battery methods in various sizes, and its products all meet industry reliability and safety standards.
