Fluence, a leading global supplier of energy storage technology and services, recently announced a partnership with UKPowerReserve to supply the first phase of a 120MW battery energy storage project with a 60MW battery energy storage system. It is currently unclear whether the remaining parts of the 120MW battery energy storage project will be delivered by Fluence.

Fluence will utilize its market leading Advancion energy storage technology platform to supply three 20MW battery energy storage systems to electric fields in the central and northwest regions, which are expected to be operational during the winter of 2018/19.
