At the level of structural strength, the blade battery adopts an integrated design of the battery cell and battery pack.

Traditional battery packs typically only have 4-5 beams, while blade batteries allow each cell to serve as a structural component, with 100 batteries making up 100 beams, effectively enhancing the strength of side impact.

The blade battery also draws on the structure principle of the very mature honeycomb aluminum plate. On the upper and lower sides of the battery stack composed of 100 batteries, two high-strength plates are pasted, forming a structure similar to honeycomb aluminum plate, which further upgrades the strength.

In addition to battery cell materials, the BYD battery pack continues to strengthen its design, with blade batteries arranged in a straight line and reasonable smoke/fire exhaust channels designed to reduce the temperature rise inside the battery pack.
