However, it is also possible to short circuit B - (battery negative) and P - (discharge negative) and release the protection. Remember not to carry a large load (such as turning the bar continuously) when short circuiting, otherwise there may be a lot of sparks, The fundamental reason for this is that a large voltage difference is formed between the two ends of the discharge MOS after protection. Short circuiting and touching directly resets the D-S level of the discharge MOS to 0V, and at this moment, the protection is released.

The old IC method is used to make the protection boards not work, reduce electrostatic discharge energy, and allow lithium-ion batteries to be stored for a longer time.
