According to foreign media reports, TruSpin Nanomaterial Innovation announced that its model battery had shown good performance after third-party testing. These tests were conducted by SpectraPower, which confirmed that the use of TruSpin silicon nanofibers can accurately improve the power of lithium batteries.

The company uses exclusive technology to mass produce nanofibers with unique components. In the prototype battery, the company integrated silicon nanofibers into the reverse side of the battery and called it the negative electrode. Robert Agnew, CEO of TruSpin, said: This innovation challenges the previous views on electric vehicle promotion and clean energy.

Scientists have long recognized that the use of silicon can improve the power capacity of batteries. However, the related costs are high, so companies such as TSLA only use a relatively small amount of silicon in their batteries. A few start-ups focusing on silicon cathode technology supply other types of nano products to optimize silicon materials. However, due to the complexity of production technology, these solutions are not feasible.

In the field of silicon cathode, other companies have adopted methods such as processing fine silicon chips from the nano level. In contrast, TruSpin uses a systematic manufacturing process to mass produce nanofibers at a lower cost and endow nanofibers with inherently preferred properties. Therefore, it is possible to manufacture negative electrodes containing key components of silicon nanofibers on an industrial scale.

Agnew said: Before the test, we believe that adding TruSpin material to the negative electrode can further improve the battery performance. We have confirmed this through these models. We will optimize the battery type for specific use and prove its efficiency upper limit.
