Pole lug is a raw material for lithium-ion polymer battery products. For example, the cell phone battery, Bluetooth battery, notebook battery and so on that we use in our life need to use the pole ear.

The battery is divided into positive and negative poles. The ear of the pole is the metal conductor that leads the positive and negative poles out of the cell. Generally speaking, the ear of the positive and negative poles of the battery is the contact point during charging and discharging. This contact point is not the copper strip on the surface of the battery we see, but a connection inside the battery. The battery lug is divided into three kinds of materials. The positive electrode of the battery is made of aluminum (Al), the negative electrode is made of nickel (Ni), and the negative electrode is also made of nickel-plated copper (Ni-Cu). They are both made of film and metal strip.

The film is the insulating part on the pole lug. Its function is to prevent short circuit between the metal strip and the aluminum-plastic film during battery packaging, and to prevent leakage by heating (about 140 ℃) and fusing the aluminum-plastic film during packaging. The commonly used black film is of three-layer structure: melanin, melting point 66 ℃; PE, melting point 105 ℃; PP, melting point 137 ℃.

The finished product packaging of polar ear is divided into disc type (the whole metal belt is wound into a disc after being added with film through the equipment) and plate type (the metal belt is cut into a single piece after being added with film, and then placed in a row with two thin transparent plastic sheets sandwiched in the middle).

The electrodeless ear battery has a relatively average current output and a more uniform heat generation, which is more convenient for the overall heat dissipation.
