Toppon shares said that the winning of the bid is the second cooperation between the company and China Mobile after winning the bid of "China Mobile's 2017-2018 centralized purchase project of lithium iron phosphate battery products for base stations outside the iron tower" in 2018, which will have a positive impact on the company's expansion of communication backup business, optimize the company's lithium battery business supply chain, further consolidate the company's dominant position in the field of communication backup, and improve the market popularity of lithium battery business.

According to the announcement of successful candidates for centralized procurement of lithium iron phosphate battery products for communications from 2021 to 2022 previously announced by China Mobile, in addition to Toppon, nine other companies won the bid, namely, Lilang Battery, Shuangdeng Group, Nandu Power Supply, Penghui Energy, Lianhe Tianyi, Yiwei Lithium Energy, Zhongtian Technology, Haisida and Jiabei.

As the main force of the seven "new infrastructure" in China, the construction of 5G base stations is being promoted by operators including China Mobile, China Unicom, China Telecom, Radio and Television, China Tower and Huawei.
