Significant progress has been made in the demonstration operation of fuel cell vehicles in Shanghai.

Yesterday (January 19th), the Shanghai Economic and Information Technology Commission announced that Shanghai fuel cell vehicles will leave the Anting International Automobile City for the first time and undergo their first commercial demonstration operation in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park. The demonstration area is planned to become the largest and most technologically advanced fuel cell vehicle demonstration operation area in China.

Shanghai Automotive Group Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Chemical Industry Park have signed a strategic cooperation framework agreement between Shanghai Chemical Industry Park and SAIC Group. The contracting parties will fully utilize the advantageous resources of both parties, combined with the development plan of the Shanghai fuel cell vehicle industry and the intelligent interconnection industry plan, to jointly promote the commercial operation cooperation of fuel cell vehicle products and implement beneficial exploration. The Shanghai Chemical Industry Zone will be built into a hydrogen energy demonstration base, and various types of fuel cell vehicle demonstration operations and intelligent interconnection vehicle demonstration operations will be carried out.

In addition, seven companies, SAIC MAXUS, SAIC Anyue, Shanghai Yidong, Shanghai Yilan, Shanghai Shunhua, Shanghai Huayi Group, and Pujiang Gas, have also signed cooperation agreements on the demonstration and hydrogenation support framework for fuel cell vehicles in the Shanghai Chemical Industry Park.
