Conduct consistency analysis of Kn-n-1 and j values for the remaining modules, and the box plots of Kn-n-1 and j values for each module are shown in Figure 11. According to the statistics of module numbers with abnormal Kn-n-1 and j values, as shown in Table 3, module 1 and module 2 are abnormal. Comparing the DC internal resistance of module 1 and module 2, it can be seen that module 1 has a large DC internal resistance. The abnormal Kn-n-1 and j values are affected by the DC internal resistance, and module 2 has the highest number of repeated occurrences, indicating that module 2 has a micro short circuit.

The charging and discharging voltage curve of module 2 in the third test was compared with Figure 2 and Figure 12. It can be seen that at the end of the test, the battery pack was unable to charge and discharge normally due to an abnormality in module 2. Module 2 can reach the cut-off voltage for charging and discharging in a short period of time during the charging and discharging cycle, proving that the capacity of Module 2 is rapidly decaying and there is a micro short circuit. The diagnostic results are consistent with the actual results.
